Ramadan 2005
18:15 - The Islamic Cultural Centre, London has announced that the 1st of Ramadhan 1426 Hijrah will be Tuesday 4th October 2005.
Ramadan is a (lunar) month of 29 or 30 days during which adult Muslims are required to fast, refraining from all food and drink between dawn and sunset. Ramadan is a blessed month of increased prayer, God-consciousness, reading of the Qur'an and giving charity.
We wish everyone a positive Ramadan and full of blessings for ones family, friends and colleagues.
